Jaquetta is the Founding Editor of Kin + Dignity Magazine, an award-winning essayist, award-nominated author, and breast cancer survivor. The Montgomery, Alabama, born and rural Waugh community-raised, native is on a divine mission to bring authentic and powerful stories of Southern Black culture, literature, and art to light with a specific focus on small-town and rural areas.
